New beginnings
Camps resumed in 2008 with venues at Dartmoor and Latches Wood, Staffordshire. Both were successful so it was decided on the recommendation of Camps Sub-Committee to continue in 2009 with Dartmoor and Carroty Wood, Kent. Since then Camps have been held at Dartmoor, Viney Hill (Forest of Dean) and, new for 2013, we are going to .... watch this space! Costs Every effort is made to keep the costs as low as possible for these week long camps but to help cases of hardship it was decided to start a Camp Bursary Fund. This was given the name of the George Hedger Camp Bursary and is used to assist such cases. Many of our supporters have contributed to this fund because it is seen as a vital part of the work of Campaigners.
